Visas

ABL Law will help you or family obtain a visa – whether nonimmigrant (temporary), immigrant (leading to lawful permanent residence), family-based, business/employment-related, tourism, student, or other type of visa – as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Employment-Based Immigration

ABL Law will assist your business or foreign workers in obtaining temporary or permanent employment visas.

Temporary / Nonimmigrant Visas

ABL Law will assist your business or foreign workers seeking employment-based visas for temporary workers and their dependent spouses and children.  Under the H1-B program, an employer may sponsor a worker to perform a specific job temporarily if the worker possesses special skills that are relevant to the job and the employer can justify their need to seek workers outside the United States.  Other forms of temporary employment visas under the E, H, I, L, O, P, Q, R, and TN programs include those for free trade treaty professionals; agricultural workers; broadcasters, intracompany transfers of executives and managers; individuals who possess special skills in science, art, education, business, athletics, and film production; internationally recognized athletes, performers, and entertainers; participants in cultural exchange programs; and religious workers.

Permanent / Immigrant Visas

ABL Law will assist your business or foreign workers seeking permanent employment-based visas, which allow intending immigrants to live and work in the United States on a permanent basis.  Categories include:  EB-1 – workers of extraordinary ability, outstanding professors and researchers, and multinational executives and managers; EB-2 – workers who are members of the professions holding advanced degrees or their equivalent and workers, who because of their exceptional ability in the sciences, arts, or business, will substantially benefit the national economy, cultural or educational interests, or the welfare of the United States; EB-3 – skilled workers, professionals, and other workers; EB-4 – religious workers, physicians, broadcasters, and other workers; and EB-5 – qualified investors who can support economic growth through investment in commercial enterprises within the United States.

Lawful Permanent Residence

A green card allows someone who is not a United States citizen to have legal permanent residency in the United States. With a green card, you can live and work anywhere in the United States and continue on a pathway to citizenship. Whether family or marriage based, employment-related, or humanitarian, ABL Law will assist you in obtaining permanent residence in the United States.

Removal Proceedings

ABL Law will aggressively defend against your removal in Immigration Court, before the Board of Immigration Appeals, or on Petition for Review to a U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, by raising a myriad of defenses:  waivers; cancellation of removal; suspension; adjustment of status; asylum; withholding; legalization; registry; or voluntary departure.

Asylum

If you are a person with a well-founded fear of persecution for reasons of race, religion, nationality, political opinion and/or membership in a particular social group, who has been forced to flee your country because of persecution, war or violence, ABL Law will assist you in affirmatively applying for protection inside the U.S. or raising asylum as a defense to removal proceedings in Immigration Court, before the Board of Immigration Appeals, or on appeal to a U.S. Circuit Court of Appeal.

Immigration Detention

In instances of pre- or post-removal order immigration detention, even upon conditions of release under orders of supervision, ABL Law will bring a challenge in federal court seeking release or remedy of conditions of unauthorized, prolonged, or illegal detention in violation of due process rights via a writ of habeas corpus.

Naturalization

ABL Law will assist you in becoming a naturalized U.S. Citizen.  Whether you need assistance filing your naturalization application, representation at your naturalization interview, overcoming an administrative denial by U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, or seeking review in federal court, ABL Law stands ready.  ABL Law is here to help you find a solution by zealously advocating for your interests in the naturalization process with the benefit of knowledge gained by its lead immigration attorney having personally litigated scores of naturalization denials on behalf of the U.S. Government for over a decade.

Denaturalization

If the U.S. Government is seeking to strip your naturalized United States citizenship, ABL Law will represent you in U.S. District Court and beyond.  With the recent creation of the Denaturalization Section at the U.S. Department of Justice, denaturalization actions are on the rise.  ABL Law is armed with knowledge gained by its lead immigration attorney having personally created the Unit at the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for prosecuting civil denaturalization cases.  Protecting your rights in this process and holding the Government to its strict degree of proof is our business.
